Pentecostal Phobias: Management by Terror

All organizations using Mind Control implant phobias. There are many reasons for this. It can be a thought-stopping technique designed to keep you from questioning their doctrines or their leaders. The phobias are implanted in the members during highly emotional sessions: during very intense preaching, during powerful music, and during services where people are breaking down and are “in the spirit.”

The fear of insanity is the most common phobia of Mind Control environments. Among Pentecostals, the codeword used to trigger the phobia of insanity this is “reprobate mind.” You can remember the implantation procedure: if you leave the “church,” God will send you a strong delusion to the extent where you will believe a lie. The implicit message is that you will lose your mind – you will go insane. Also, the phobia about “blasphemy against the Holy Ghost” is the phobia of going insane. Recognize it for what it is: a phobia implanted by a preacher designed to keep you from asking questions – honest questions. Think about it. Is not God a God of Truth? If God is a God of Truth, would he not naturally allow you to ask questions to learn more? Think hard about that for a while.

Another phobia among Pentecostal churches is the fear of severe injury and bodily harm. Recall how many times the pastor came before the audience and screamed “God will strike you down like Annanias and Saphira if you dare attack the ministry!” They are implanting a debilitating phobia that you will either die in a car wreck or of a heart attack, or become paralyzed in an accident if you dare question the “man of God.”

One has to work through these phobias, figure out how it got there, and recognize why preachers do this, and how evil it is.

The phobias are designed to keep you in. Do not let them control your life. Work through them and push hard to understand and define them, and then get rid of them. Defining the process in your mind and identifying the phobia distinctly is half the battle. The more you figure out about the phobia, the less you will have this dreadful fear. Knowledge eases the fear, because fear comes from the unknown in this case, because you have never allowed yourself to figure out what has been haunting you. Figure it out – even on paper. Try to remember the services when the preacher was yelling stuff to make you scared to death. Do you recall “Touch NOT mine anointed!” That is another phobia implantation.

Also, if anyone wishes to pursue this further, Steve Hassan’s book “Releasing the Bonds” explains how to work through these phobias and set your mind free.

There are possibly a few other phobias that these churches implanted in our minds. Maybe we can begin a list, and describe the process and the events.
