Thankful for the Net
Growing up in a time where there was no .net, .org, .com or any other form of online communication was quite an experience as I'm sure many of you may be able to remember also. Thankfully we do have this modern tool so that we can keep in touch across the miles on a global basis. That "evil tool" preached against in years past is barely spoken against now days. So as we watch the more restrictive religions change, I often ask myself why did they even speak against such technology in the past when it's ok to have a computer with online communicative means and yet in some sects TV, college, "worldly magazines" and other things are so taboo. |
